A Red Dead Redemption 2 user shows his love for the game by paying tribute to one of the Van der Linde gang members in Sadie Adler.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been such a popular game over the years that many fans have been inspired to recreate things and people inside the Western title. A Red Dead Redemption 2 fan showed their love for the game by creating an illustration so true to the game’s art style that it looks like someone at Rockstar did it.

Fans generally love the Van der Linde Gang because they have such a unique style in the world of video games. They have such fleshed out personalities and looks, and it’s led more than one to pay homage to the immersive Old West game with different styles of artwork.

Reddit user guffysama showed how he paid tribute to RDR2 with an illustration of Sadie where she’s sitting against some sort of mound of dirt, lying down and showing off her gun. The entire image is done, as the user pointed out, in the same kind of style that Rockstar does for its official character artwork. The user clarified that his style was indeed meant to mimic “OG style.”

Many other Reddit users were quick to give guffysama a few compliments, with one saying there would be no way to tell it wasn’t indeed something that had been posted. by the game’s developers. Another pointed out that there were a few differences here and there, though he admitted those differences were due to him being “extraordinarily picky”.

As has been the case for other Red Dead Redemption 2 drawings and illustrations, other users were very interested to know how guffysama managed to create their work. The poster showcased the tools they were using, namely the Infinite Painter app on the Galaxy Tab S7 FE while using the “paint stroke” brush in that app. Yet others were so impressed with the work that they asked if they could use the image for their phone wallpaper.
