The 23rd Young Artists Art Exhibition 2022 Starts Today

The 23rd Young Artists Art Exhibition 2022 will start today at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

The biennial exhibition is organized by the BSA Fine Arts Department. This year’s event will feature 422 works of art from 356 artists. A total of 1,019 artists submitted 2,034 artworks to the event, BSA General Secretary Liaquat Ali Lucky said at a press conference held at the National Art Seminar Hall on Tuesday. Gallery.

Among others, BSA Secretary Md Asaduzzaman and Director of Fine Arts Department Syeda Mahbuba Karim were present at the press conference.

Works will be presented in eleven categories, namely painting, printmaking, sculpture, oriental art, pottery, crafts, graphic design, photography, installation art, art of performance and new media.

The inaugural programme, which will also include an awards ceremony, will be held in the auditorium of the BSA’s National Art Gallery at 7.00pm today.

The first art exhibition of young artists took place in 1975.
