The Persad Center announces the support of renowned artists for “2022 Art for Change Event”

PITTSBURGH–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Persad Center is organizing “2022 Art for Change Event” on Friday, September 9 at Stage AE on the North Shore. The event, Persad’s 35e Annual, is one of the most important art auctions in the region. Proceeds support the Persad Center’s mission to provide mental health services to the LGBTQ+ community and people living with HIV/AIDS.
Persad is pleased to announce that Bob Sendall is the event’s chairman and that Steve Mendelson will be one of its featured gallery owners. Bob and Steve are both longtime supporters of Persad and have been involved with this event since its inception in 1987. Other featured gallerists include Judy Barie, Madeline Gent, Darrell Kinsel and Rachel Rearick.
Persad has also received artwork engagements from the Herb Ritts Foundation, New York fashion and celebrity photographer Mike Ruiz, Anita Henley Carrington, Clint Fisher and Chris Lopez.
